The development stages:Discovery/2016-12,In production - under development/2017-05.Sercan field is part of the East Manzanilla joint venture development block, located 65km off the east coast of Trinidad. The field is jointly owned by EOG Resources and BP Trinidad and Tobago (bpTT), with EOG as the operator of the development. The field is located in the West Block acreage originally licensed to bpTT, but the acreage containing the field has been converted into a joint development block with each company holding a 50% interest. The environmental assessment report for the Sercan platform installation work indicated that the field has a production capacity of 250Mf3/d (7.01Mm3/d) of natural gas. The Sercan field was previously known as the EMZ area.
