The development stages:Early design & engineering/2015-02,In operation/2017-12.The investment is US$3mn.The project involves eight minor and six major modernizations to the diesel hydro-desulphurization plants in the Pemex refining system. It also involves the installation of five diesel hydro-desulphurization plants at the Madero, Minatitlán, Salina Cruz, Salamanca and Tula refineries. The plants will produce 15 ppm diesel. At the existing facilities, the project will rehabilitate aging equipment and upgrade operational protocols in order to operate in line with international standards.
