The block covers 37 square kilometers and holds 67Bf3 of original gas in place. Accumulated production from the area amounts to 36Bf3 of gas. The block's reservoirs are found in Paleocene sandstones. The block was put out to tender as part of CNH's third phase of Round One and was awarded to Construcciones y Servicios Industriales Globales, S.A. de C.V. The block is part of 21 Type 1 blocks, which are expected to contain less than 100Mb remaining in their reservoirs.
