The development stages:Exploration drilling/2017-04.Block 16 is located in Pemex's South Region and is part of the Bellota-Jujo asset. The block covers 17 square kilometers and holds 78Mb of original oil in place and 43Bf3 (1.22Bm3) of original gas in place. Accumulated production from the area amounts to 100,000b of oil and 100Mf3 of gas. The block's reservoirs are found in Cretaceous limestones. The block was tendered as part of CNH's third phase of Round 1 and was awarded to Roma Energy Holdings, LLC in consortium with Tubular Technology, S.A. de C.V. and Gx Geoscience Corporation, S. de R.L. de C.V. The block is part of 21 Type 1 blocks, which are expected to contain less than 100Mb remaining in their reservoirs.
