The development stages:Exploration drilling/2017-04.Block 15 is located in Pemex's South Region and is part of the Macuspana-Muspac asset. The block covers 28 square kilometers and holds 86Mb of original oil in place and 572Bf3 (16.2Bm3) of original gas in place. Accumulated production from the area amounts to 35Mb of oil and 322Bf3 of gas. The block's reservoirs are found in Cretaceous dolomites and limestones. The block was put out to tender as part of CNH's third phase of Round 1 and was awarded to Renaissance Oil Corp S.A. de C.V. The block is part of 21 Type 1 blocks, which are expected to contain less than 100Mb remaining in their reservoirs.
