The block covers 30 square kilometers and holds 85Bf3 of original gas in place. Accumulated production from the area amounts to 45Bf3 of gas. The block's reservoirs are found in Paleogene sandstones. The block was put out to tender as part of CNH's third phase of Round 1 and was awarded to Consorcio Manufacturero Mexicano, S.A. de C.V. The block is part of 21 Type-1 blocks, which are expected to contain less than 100Mb remaining in their reservoirs.
