The block covers 21 square kilometers and holds 13Mb of original oil in place and 86Bf3 of original gas in place. Accumulated production from the area amounts to 3Mb of oil and 26Bf3 of gas. The block's reservoirs are found in Cretaceous dolostones and limestones. The block was put out to tender as part of CNH's third phase of Round 1 and was awarded to Renaissance Oil Corp S.A. de C.V. The block is part of 21 Type-1 blocks, which are expected to contain less than 100Mb remaining in their reservoirs.
