The development stages:Under Construction/2008-09,In production - under development/2014-12.PDVSA and Russian state oil company Rosneft have created a joint venture to develop the Marisca Sucre offshore natural gas reserves in Venezuela. Phase I will see the further development of the Dragón field 100% by PDVSA, which has already completed four wells out of a planned seven and a subsea pipeline connecting the field to the mainland, as part of the Delta Caribe Oriental project. Rosneft and PDVSA will cooperate in developing the other three fields: Patao in phase 1, Mejillones and condensate field Río Caribe during phase II. The project envisions 36 wells, production platforms and subsea pipelines linking to eastern Venezuela and the domestic and international markets.
