The development stages:Exploration drilling/2017-03.Block 5 is located in Pemex's North Region and is part of the Burgos asset. The block covers 89 square kilometers and holds 101Bf3 of original gas in place. Accumulated production from the area amounts to 61Bf3 of gas. The block's reservoirs are found in Tertiary sandstones. The block was put out to tender as part of CNH's third phase of Round 1 and was awarded to Strata Campos Maduros, S.A.P.I. de C.V. The block is part of 21 Type-1 blocks, which are expected to contain less than 100Mb remaining in their reservoirs.
