The development stages:Exploration drilling/2016-12.The Area-4 project involves exploring for, and extracting, hydrocarbons in deep water in the Gulf of Mexico, in one of the four exploration blocks of the Perdido belt. Block Area-4 covers a zone of 1,877 square kilometers and 3D seismic of the whole area has been obtained. The main reserves discovered contain super light oil. The four blocks of the Perdido belt contain an estimated 3.56Bboe.
