The development stages:Tendering/2015-12.The project involves exploring for, and extracting, hydrocarbons in deep water in the Gulf of Mexico, specifically in Area-2 of the Salina basin. Block Area-2 is one of six exploration blocks in the Salina basin area and covers 2,411 square kilometers. 3D seismic has been shot over 63% of Area-2 and the main reserves discovered contain light oil. The six blocks of the Salina basin together contain an estimated 6.98Bboe.
