The development stages:In production - under development/2012-01.Tiê is an oil and gas field located within the Recôncavo basin in Bahia, Brazil. Current field production is estimated at 900b/d, while 2P NAR reserves increased 48% to 4.9Mb of oil (SEC compliant at May 31, 2014). Gran Tierra Inc holds the concession to explore seven blocks in the basin region: REC-T-117, REC-T-118, REC-T-129, REC-T-142, REC-T-155, REC-T-224 and REC-T-86. These are mature fields, which require fracking. After reviewing its capital spending policy for 2015, Gran Tierra Inc. announced a US$34mn investment in the field for 2015, the lowest amount allocated by the company in South America.
