Operated by Hocol, CPO-17 is an onshore block that covers 2,140 square kilometers in the Llanos Orientales area. CPO-17 was acquired by Hocol in the 2008 Colombian Round. The company has acquired 618km of 2D seismic. In 2011 the first well was drilled in the area, showing the presence of in situ oil. During 2014, Hocol added 33.1Mboe of contingent resources after evaluating its Godric well. Current owners of the project are Hocol (50%) and Maurel & Prom (50%). The project is in phase II exploration where the companies are evaluating the potential of specific areas, according to ANH.
