The development stages:Advanced design and engineering/2011-11,Under Construction/2014-02.The investment is US$400mn.The 130km, 30-inch pipeline will connect Puerto Bahía's facilities with Colombia's main crude oil export terminal in Coveñas on the Caribbean coast. The project will also include a pumping station at Coveñas with capacity of 300,000b/d. The pipeline also will include a direct connection between Puerto Bahía and the Cartagena Refinery (Reficar). The first stage will have capacity of 170,000b/d. Capacity will be increased to 300,000b/d with eight pumping stations.
