The development stages:Exploration drilling/2015-03.Kunah is an offshore gas discovery in the Catemaco fold belt in Holok province. The Centenario rig was used by Pemex, and Kunah 1 was drilled to a total depth of 4,550m and confirmed the existence of five deposits at depths from 2,845m to 4,103m. The NOC is hoping to put this asset out to tender through 2015 as part of its farm-outs. Kunah holds around 1.7Tf3 of 3P reserves and its farm-out would lay the foundation for what could become a massive gas development in the Gulf of Mexico. According to Pemex estimates, production could reach 600Mf3/d once developed. Similarly, the company has stated that it would be developed with a floating production system (FPS) together with outputs from neighboring Piklis. Piklis' development plan consists of a direct tie-back to Kunah's FPS and flowlines to deliver outputs to it. From Kunah's FPS, combined production would be transported via two subsea pipelines to Lakach before being sent on to Lakach's onshore gas conditioning station.
