The development stages:Exploration drilling/2007-09.The Los Ocarros block is located in Colombia's Llanos Orientales basin. Canadian junior Petroamerica Oil and Parex Resources each hold a 50% participating interest in the block. The Zampoña-1 exploration well was spudded in October 2014, just east of the currently producing Las Maracas field, which targeted Mirador, Gacheta, and Une formations. Similarly, the Langur-1x exploration well was spudded in November 2014 and also targeted the same productive formations. As of March 2015, exploratory drilling activities were still underway and ANH recorded an average production of 3,642b/d at the Las Maracas field.
