The development stages:Exploration drilling/2013-11.Operated by Trinity Exploration & Production (65%), the Galeota block comprises an area of 122 square kilometers in shallow waters at the Columbus basin. The block contains estimated 2P reserves of 39Mb and has five undeveloped discoveries with net contingent resources of 45Bboe. Reserves of 39mmopd in reserves 2P and it has five undevelopment targets, which would contain 45mmopd. In the block are the Trintes producer field and the TGAL-1 exploratory well. In April 2009 Bayfield Energy obtained a 25 year license for exploration and production for Galeota, where controls a 65% of the block. The rest is held by the Trinidad and Tobago's state oil company Petrotrin. Trinity Exploration & Production took control of Galeota operations in February 2013. Five wells are going to be drilled in the 2013-2014 period.
