The development stages:Exploration drilling/2013-05.The Junín 4 block of the Orinoco belt is owned by Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA). It is operated by joint venture Petrourica, made up of Venezuela's national oil company PDVSA and China's state oil company CNPC, with 60% and 40% ownership, respectively. Petrourica was formed to drill the block and process up to 400,000b/d of heavy crude for 25 years in Junín Block 4, together with Petrojunín and Petromiranda.
