The development stages:Licensing/2016-02.Block 87 was part of Ecuador's XI Round. No offers were received for the block and it is now in the hands of Ecuador's hydrocarbons secretariat. According to the secretariat, the block holds 14-15º API oil in a 1,523 square kilometers area. To date, 267km of 2D seismic has been collected. However, no exploration or development plans have been announced yet. Expected exploration investment totals US$100mn.
