The development stages:Seismic/2012-10.Operated by BP, the offshore block 12 covers an area of 10,670 square kilometers and is located in the Pelotas basin. The block was granted to BP in the Uruguay round II tender, called by state oil company Ancap, under a contract classified as shared production agreement for a period of 30 years. The block has 2D seismic studies conducted by Ancap before the round. The working plan for the period 2012-2014 contemplates the acquisition of 10,670 of 3D seismic data, to obtain cientific information and decide the areas to drill.
