The development stages:Licensing/2013-12.The unconventional COR 66 block covers 89,941ha and is located in Colombia's Cordillera Oriental basin. It is part of the 2014 Colombian Round for production and exploration licenses, promoted by local hydrocarbons agency ANH and the mines and energy ministry (Minminas). The contract includes an initial 36-month stage which involves the acquisition of 200km of 2D seismic data, or the reprocessing of existing data, and the drilling of two exploration or stratigraphic wells. Second and third phases will require four exploration wells each. The contract will last nine years for exploratory activities and 30 years once production has started, and is extendable for another 10 years.
