The development stages:Exploration drilling/2015-12.Block 23 is located in Pemex's North Region and is part of the Bellota-Jujo asset. The block covers 28 square kilometers and holds 652Mb of original oil in place and 424Bf3 of original gas in place. Accumulated production from the area amounts to 1.4Mb of oil and 800Mf3 of gas. The block's reservoirs are found in Cretaceous limestones. The block was tendered as part of CNH's third phase of Round 1 and was awarded to Compañía Petrolera Perseus, S.A. de C.V. The block is part of four Type 2 blocks, which are expected to contain 100Mb or more remaining in their reservoirs.
