The Cedrela block covers 319,804 acres and is located just south of Canacol's Tamarín contract. The block was awarded to Canacol Energy in 2010. During exploratory phase one, the company shot 375km of 2D seismic. In October 2012, drilling operations of a stratigraphic test well, Guarango 1, started. Later, in June 2013, Canacol Energy reported that the block's development had been suspended by ANH.
