The development stages:Exploration drilling/2013-12.The first exploration works in the area were in 2012, with the drilling of the Divisaderos x-1 well, reaching 1600m and without discovering hydrocarbons, by a consortium formed by local companies Werthein, Energial and Petrosiel, dissolved in 2011. A new tender was announced, including the blocks Salina Grande VIII and IX, which was awarded by PCR (Petoquímica Comodoro Rivadavia). This company presented a plan that included the drilling of four exploratory wells in the area. In 2012, one well was drilled which is in study.
