The development stages:Licensing/2015-02.General Roca is a 279 square kilometers area of unconventional resources located in the Pre-Cuyo formation, in Río Negro province. The area had originally been awarded to Petrolera del Comahue (Petco), but in February 2015 provincial governor Alberto Weretilneck confirmed that the exploration license for General Roca was revoked, and that the concession reverted back to state-controlled Empresa de Desarrollo Hidrocarburífero Provincial Sociedad Anónima (EDHIPSA).
