The development stages:Awaiting construction decision/2015-07,Under Construction/2017-09,In operation/2018-06.The investment is US$481mn.The floating terminal will be located near the towns of Salinas and Guayama and will provide fuel to the Central Aguirre power plant, which will convert 900MW of its existing capacity to dual-fuel generation. The plant will be able to use No. 2 diesel and/or natural gas as its primary fuel. This project is part of a plan to reduce energy costs in Puerto Rico.
