Project Profile
Location: From Luderitz to Tses, Namibia
Length: 336 kilometre pipeline
Tses Glass is being developed to have all four separate manufacturing plants in a single location in Tses, Namibia; starting out with a 250 tons per day Container Glass Plant, 600 tons per day Float Glass Plant, 350 tons per day Tableware Glass Plant, and 200 tons per day Ultrathin Glass Plant, making it the largest dynamic glass manufacturing hub in the world.
Tses Glass seeks to import natural gas in the amount of 64 million Nm3 per year in a form of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), store it, and re-gasify it to be transported via the planned Pipeline to its glass manufacturing facilities in Tses. Tses Glass is inviting a reliable supplier of LNG, with Luderitz, Namibia as the FOB destination, as well a supplier of Light Diesel Oil or LPG as a backup for fueling and powering its four different glass production factories, whose construction starts in May 2014.
