The development stages:Seismic/2016-10.The offshore COL 6 block covers 647,262ha and is located in the Colombia basin, in the country of the same name. The block, classified as ¿opportunities for the technical evaluation of border areas,¿ is part of the 2014 Colombian Round for production and exploration licenses, promoted by local hydrocarbons agency ANH and the mines and energy ministry (Minminas). The 36-month contract involves the acquisition of 6,000km of 2D seismic and the carrying out of 80 piston core tests. The contract will last three years for exploratory activities and 24 years once production has started, and is extendable for another 10 years.
