The development stages:Under Construction/2013-11,In production/2015-03.The Terra Papa field is located in the Campos basin's BC-20 block. It is operated by Brazil's state-run oil company Petrobras (62.5%), with the balance held by Chevron (37.5%). The field is estimated to contain 700 million to a billion barrels of oil equivalent. The crude oil has an API index ranging between 14° and 17°. about 380 million barrels of oil are expected to be recovered from the field. The field, which was discovered in 2003, began production in December 2013 aboard the P-63 ffloating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) unit. The platform has an output capacity of 140,000b/d of crude and 1Mm3/d of gas. Petrobras says it will add two new platforms in Papa Terra - P-61 and SS-88 TAD - by December 2014.
