The development stages:Exploration drilling/2016-01.At a depth of about 45m, the Ichalkil and Pokoch fields are part of the CNH's Area No. 4 shallow water production block. The area was auctioned during the second phase of Round One and holds an estimated 693Mb of oil and 811Bf3 (23Bm3) of associated gas. Pokoch is expected to offer 36.7Mb and 52Bf3 of 3P reserves, according to the CNH. The block was awarded to a consortium comprising Fieldwood Energy and Mexican operator Petrobal through a production-sharing contract, where the companies proposed a 74% stake for the Mexican government.
