The Miquetla block has an acreage covering 122 square kilometers and 60 operating wells located in three fields: Coyol, Miquetla, and Palo Blanco. The area was one of six blocks in Pemex's third round of ISCs to boost output at Chicontepec. Operadora de Campos DWF, a joint venture between Weatherford and Mexico's Grupo Diavaz, won the contract with a fee of US$0.98/bbl. Approximate production reached 1,700b/d by December 2014.
