The development stages:Under Construction/2014-08,In operation/2016-12.The investment is US$945mn.This project is part of phase II of the 741km Los Ramones north and south segments. The phase II South pipeline will run 291km from Villa Hidalgo in the state of San Luis Potosí to Apaseo del Alto, Guanajuato. Its operation and maintenance will be the responsibility of TAG Pipelines Sur, a joint venture formed by Mexico Power and Gas Ventures, a wholly owned subsidiary of GDF Suez; PMI Holdings BV; and TAG Pipelines (an affiliate of Mexgas Supply and Mexgas Enterprises, both subsidiaries of PGPB). Los Ramones Sur will be built by ICA Fluor, a joint venture between Mexico's ICA and US-based Fluor Corporation. All in all, the 855km Los Ramones natural gas pipeline is designed to improve gas supply in Mexico's scarcity-hit central region.
