The development stages:Environmental evaluation/2013-08.The investment is US$318mn.The project, which is being developed by Brazil's federal energy major Petrobras, involves the construction of an offshore oil and gas terminal designed to facilitate pre-salt exports. The offshore storage and transfer unit (Uote) will receive petroleum from production fields in the Campos and Santos basins and include a 2Mb-capacity floating storage and offloading unit (FSO). The offshore storage and transfer unit will have a maximun storage capacity of 19.6mn barrels of oil per month. The structure includes a floating storage and offloading unit (FSO) and two monobuoys, attached to the bottom of the ocean and connected to each other by a submarine system. The unit can perform reception and transfer of oil at the same time, with the participation of three ships.
