The El Manzano, covering an area of 265 square kilometers in the Neuquén basin, is owned by Andes Energía (40%) and YPF (60%). Of the 16 wells found in the area, three are already in production with an average of 60b/d. A development program is currently underway in the area, which presents the potential for unconventional reserves in the Vaca Muerta shale deposit.
