The investment is US$950mn.Developed by Cutuco Energy, the El Salvador LNG terminal includes a tank capable of holding 160,000m3 and a 525MW combined cycle generation plant. The terminal includes two storage tanks with a discharge capacity of 12,000m3/h and a regasification capacity of 125,015m3/h. The gas will be transported by ship to the terminal for storage. Later, it will be sent to a regasification plant for use in the combined cycle plant and export.
