The development stages:Exploration drilling/2015-06.Matorras block covers 1,832 square kilometers and is an exploration license held by President Energy Plc. The company has delineated two prospects, Loma de Olmedo Deep North and South. Respectively, each holds 120.6Mboe and 120.9Mboe of mean risked resources. After obtaining the license, the company carried out a stratigraphic survey and reprocessed over 2,500km of 2D seismic as well as 3D seismic from 2012 to 2014. After these studies, the company announced that the Martinez Del Tineo deep gas/condensate Paleozoic prospect sits directly below proven and probable oil reserves in the MDT field at the firm's Puesto Guardian concession, and extends to both its Matorras and Ocultar license areas.
