The development stages:Under Construction/2012-10,In operation/2015-10.The investment is US$569mn.The first phase of the Sásabe-Guaymas line, which stretches from the Mexico-Arizona border to Puerto Libertad, was completed on July 2014. The second phase, extending to Guaymas, was ready by October 2015. The pipeline supplies natural gas to the Puerto Libertad and Guaymas II thermo plants. The line also supplies the Guaymas III and IV combined cycle plants once they are built by CFE. Sempra Energy won the contract for 25 years and its subsidiary, IEnova, was in charge of the construction and is now in charge of the operation. The line is a section of Mexico's North-Northwest pipeline and connects with the Guaymas-El Oro segment.
