The investment is US$200mn.The 38km, 36-inch oil and gas pipeline will connect the Xanab-A, Xanab-C and Yaxche-A production platforms to the Dos Bocas marine terminal in Tabasco state. The Xanab and Yaxche fields are both part of PEP's offshore light crude project and are located within the Litoral de Tabasco asset. In December 2014, Xanab produced 83,420b/d while Yaxche yielded 23,560b/d. The aim of the project is to manage the production of the Xanab and Yaxche fields independently. Dragados Offshore, a subsidiary of Spain's Grupo ACS, was awarded the US$200mn contract to build the pipeline and the project is now in operation.
