The development stages:Under Construction/2013-01,In operation/2015-09.The investment is US$83mn.The project, which involves modernizing pumping stations and multipurpose pipelines, aims to ensure adequate transportation and supply of oil derivatives to Ecuadoran terminals Santo Domingo and El Beaterio. The initiative calls for increasing capacity from 2,500b/hour to 4,700b/h, and from 700b/h to 1,400b/h at the Libertad-Pascuales pipeline. It also entails capacity expansion and technology upgrade at the Esmeraldas maritime terminal and the automation of Pascuales terminal operations. The US$83mn project is being developed by state oil company Petroecuador.
