The investment is US$4.3bn.The OBC pipeline project is aimed at easing transport bottlenecks experienced by oil producers operating in the prolific Llanos basin in Colombia. The 960km pipeline will extend from Casanare to Coveñas, will have a 450.000b/d capacity and its construction will be carried out in four separate stages (phases 0 to 3). Phases 2 and 3 will have a combined length of 730.3km and will transport crude oil from the Banadía station to the Coveñas Maritime Terminal through 42, 30 and 36 inches pipelines, with 340,000b/d capacity.
