The Rhourde Nouss Gas Processing Facility project involves the construction of gas processing facility at Rhourde Nouss, Algeria. It also includes construction of a gas processing plant; a carbon dioxide processing and re-injection facility; laying of pipelines (from the facility to transport network) and gas gathering facilities. The project is aimed at increasing the export capacity of the Sonatrach and to serve Rhourde Nouss’ four gas fields. The project is part of the company\'s plan to increase its export capacity from 2.2 trillion cubic feet per year to three trillion cubic feet per year by 2014.
