The offshore portion of Al-Khafji development was tendered in three separate phases:
- Phase 1: involves the installation of the fourth Integrated Wellhead Jacket (IWJ) platform to be constructed in the divided zone. The IWJ-4 platform weights 1,100 metric tonne and will be constructed 40-kilometers offshore at a water depth of 30-meters.
