背景资料Background: The project scope involves the expansion of gas processing capacity at Hawiyah. once completed, the project will increase the total production at the plant to approximately 3,860 million scfd, and will make it one of the largest gas processing facilities in the world.Hawiyah and Haradh are located in the south of Saudi Arabia’s Ghawar oil and gas field. The proposed facilities will have the capacity to process more than 1 billion cubic feet a day (cf/d) of additional gas produced from the Ghawar onshore field. The kingdom’s gas network produces 12 billion cf/d and there are plans to increase this to 23 billion cf/d.

业主Owner: Saudi Amacro

承包商(EPC合同持有者)Contractor:
  • The pre-qualification documents have been submitted for EPC tender on a project to construct new gas compression facilities in Hawiyah and Haradh. (February 2017)
  • The pre-qualified firms have been invited to submit bids for EPC packages on a project to construct new gas compression facilities in Hawiyah and Haradh in the east of Saudi Arabia. Last date to submit bids is 3 July, 2017. A fifth package, which involves installation of pipelines as part of the project, is expected to be tendered at a later date. (April 2017)

  • Saudi Aramco has received bids for the contract covering Hawiyah gas plant expansion project. The bidders are: CTCI of Taiwan, Hyundai Engineering of South Korea / Hyundai Development Co Engineering & Construction (HDEC), Larsen & Toubro (L&T) of India, Petrofac of UK, Saipem of Italy, Samsung Engineering of South Korea, and Tecnicas Reunidas of Spain. (August 2017)

  • Tecnicas Reunidas of Spain has submitted the lowest bid price to build Hawiyah’s gas plant expansion project, which is estimated to cost between $1 and 1.3 billion. Saipem of Italy and Samsung E&C of South Korea are also well placed to win the gas plant contract. (October 2017)
