Block 108 is located in the Ene basin near Camisea field in Peru, covering an area of 12,417km2 and owned by Pluspetrol and the Peruvian subsidiary of Reliance E&P DMCC. The block is divided in two due to social conflicts in the southern part of the land, the resulting effect being that only the northern part (Junín y Cerro Pasco) is currently being explored. Exploration in the lot will be focused on the search for hydrocarbons, mainly the discovery of gas.
