The Tsiengui field is Addax Petroleum’s principal onshore Gabon producing and development property. It was discovered in 2002 and started production in July 2005. The field straddles in the Maghena license. The Maghena licence area is approximately 100 km southeast of the coastal city of Port-Gentil and covers a gross area of approximately 162,400 acres (657 km2). Addax Petroleum operates and holds a 92.5% interest in this licence. The production of the field is at a combined stabilised rate of 2,400 barrels per day (bopd) gross (2,220 bopd). The combined production from Tsiengui and Obangue is being exported through the existing six-inch pipeline from Obangue to Avocette. The seismic data were being processed by Veritas DGC Ltd.
