Ungani Field is a 3D seismic survey to delineate the size and shape of the structure will be followed by further appraisal and production wells that will form the basis for an independent reserves classification and the full development of the field, FID for which is currently expected in early 2013. Buru and MC each have a 50% interest in this well and in EP 391, with MC contributing 80% of the cost of the well under the terms of its farm-in agreement with Buru. In July 2015, production at Ungani is at an initial rate of 1,250 bopd, with an initial increased target of 2,500bopd, rising to 3,000bopd.
