Ormil Energy Limited through its wholly owned Botswana subsidiary Baobab Resources (Pty) Ltd has been advised by the Department of Geological Surveys in the Republic of Botswana, that its application for a Petroleum Exploration License (PEL) has been approved and issued as Exploration License No. 154/2012 (PEL 154/2012). Baobab Resources (Pty) Ltd forms part of the recently acquired Energy Botswana Limited Group and the PEL is an exploration license granting the right to explore for Natural Gas/Petroleum under the petroleum (Exploration and Production) Act of Botswana, Chapter 67:01. This new PEL is in addition to existing Coal Bed Methane prospects in Botswana held by Nata Energy (Pty) Ltd, which is part of the recently acquired Energy Botswana Limited Group and is a wholly owned subsidiary. The PEL 154/2012 covers approximately 23,700 square kilometres (km2) and is located in the Ngamiland and Central districts of Botswana. The PEL is valid for a period of four years commencing from October 1, 2012.
