The flowlines will involve 2 sectors with the first sector as a tie-in to the Growler field to the Lycium oilfield, through the construction of a 70 km liquids flowline, which will have an initial capacity of 8,000 barrels of oil per day. The second sector will have a 74 km flowline, with an initial capacity of 15,000 bpd, from Lycium to the liquids plant at Moomba, which will service all of the company’s operated and non-operated acreage on the Cooper basin western flank. The flowlines will provide Beach Energy with access to the Growler field during times of flooding and provide increased production flows from its operated licences PEL 91 and PEL 92.
