The offshore blocks Area 3 and Area 6 are located within the Rovuma Basin in Mozambique, while and Petronas is the operator of the blocks. The two blocks cover an area of approximately 5,900 square miles with water depths of up to 8,200 feet. Total entered into a farm-in agreement with Petronas and will see it acquire a portion of the Malaysian oil company\'s interest in those two fields. The deal will see Total take a 40 percent interest in the production sharing contract leaving Petronas with the remaining 60 percent.
