The Congo River Canyon Crossing project is designed to supply natural gas from Chevron operations in Block 0 and Block 14 to ALNG. The project is expected to include two wells and two new platforms. Chevron, through Cabinda Gulf Oil Company Limited (CABGOC), operates this project and has a 39.2% interest. The proposed pipeline will be able to transport as much as 250 million cubic feet per day of natural gas from Angola\'s Blocks 0 and 14 to the Angola LNG plant in Soyo. The development plans include 87 miles (140 km) of pipeline routed under the Congo River subsea canyon. Project construction began in May 2011 and is expected to be completed in 2013. Congo River Crossing platforms are located offshore Angola. The two CRX platforms are designed to function as pipeline terminations for the drilling of a pipeline underneath the Congo River channel.

As well as supplying the Skandi Singapore, DOF Subsea will provide Project Management and Technical Support, specialist survey services, ROV services, and offshore project crew to assist Saipem S.A.
